eTrigue ID is a critical field used by the system to ensure an accurate 1-to-1 mapping between records in the CRM and in DemandCenter. For DemandCenter CRM integration, the custom field, eTrigue ID, is added to the following objects within your CRM system:
- Leads
- Contacts
- Accounts
- Campaigns
- Opportunities

Note - In order to maintain the integrity of your data, it will be absolutely crucial that your team members NEVER add or change data in this field. If a number is entered into this field by anything other than the DemandCenter CRM integration service, damaging consequences may result, including and not limited to, records being overwritten with incorrect data, loss of data, mismatched records, duplicate record creation, etc. We recommend restricting read/write access to this field accordingly (make sure that the ongoing integration user still has unrestricted access). |
