Activity Score enables you to assign score values to prospects each time they visit specific pages on your tracked sites. Scores can be assigned with predefined Activity Score Rules and Content Types, or you can set custom score values for each individual page.
Each time a prospect visits a page, their overall Activity Score will increase or decrease by the amount of the score value assigned to each visited page.
To set up an Activity Score:
- Go to Settings > Prospect Settings > Prospect Scores > Activity Score.
- Click on the Content Types tab to manage the Content Types available for your account.
- Click on the Activity Score tab to locate and assign score values to specific pages or to configure broader Activity Score Rules based on page URLs and/or Nicknames.
- Use the Search Pages tool to define the criteria needed to locate the tracked page(s) to which you would like to assign an Activity Score value and/or page Nickname.
For example, let's say you wanted to assign a score to all pages that contained the word "pricing" within the URL. Your search would look like this: - (Optional) Use the search tools below to further refine your results:

- Lock Status: Use the drop-down menu to locate Any, Not Locked or Locked pages.
- Content Type: Use the drop-down menu to only include pages with the selected Content Type.
When you have finished choosing your filters, click Filter Results. Your table of matching pages will be updated to reflect your filter criteria.
- In the table of page listings, check the boxes next to all pages that you would like to update and click Edit Selected Pages
- In the Edit Pages dialog, configure the attributes that would be applied to the selected page:
Nickname: Enter the nickname that you would like to assign to the page. The Nickname will appear in prospect activity details, lead alerts, and anywhere else the page is referenced.

Note - If you have selected a Content Type and a specific score to be assigned, the score value will be applied as it has higher priority.
Lock Status: Choose Locked if you would like matching page(s) to be ineligible for any other Activity Score Rules. If you would like your page(s) to be eligible for further updates, choose Not Locked. - When finished, click Apply. All selected attributes will be instantly applied to your selected page.
- Repeat Step 4-8 to assign an Activity Score Value or page Nickname to additional individual pages as needed.
-
Users can also configure an ongoing Activity Score Rule. An Activity Score Rule looks for pages that qualify to be automatically assigned scoring and nickname attributes that you define based on your search criteria.
- Use the Search Pages tool to define the criteria needed to locate the tracked pages to which you would like to create an Activity Score Rule for.
- Once you feel that your search is matching pages that you would like to update on an ongoing basis, click Save Rule.
- In the Create Rule dialog, configure the attributes for your Activity Score Rule. With an Activity Score Rule in place, existing pages which have been logged by eTrigue as well as any future tracked pages will be evaluated against all active Activity Score Rules on an ongoing basis.
If a tracked page matches the criteria of your Activity Score Rule, the rule's configured attributes will automatically be applied to the page.
