When building or updating a DemandCenter Campaign, it is recommended that you use the Test Action feature to test the configuration of each Action in the Campaign. Doing so, will cause the statistics of the Campaign to increase. The statistics of the Campaign will be retained differently, depending on whether or not the campaign has ever been set to a Ready Status.
When using the Test Action feature in a Campaign that has never been set to Ready:
- The Action's Total will not increase.
- All statistics, other than the Action's Total, will increase in accordance with how the records in the Test Audience are evaluated by the Option logic in the Action.
- Statistics from Tests will remain in the Campaign until the Campaign is set to a Ready Status.
- When Campaign is set to Ready, all statistics will be reset to zero (0).
When using the Test Action feature in a Campaign that has been set to Ready at least once:
- The Action's Total will not increase.
- All statistics, other than the Action's Total, will increase in accordance with how the records in the Test Audience are evaluated by the Option logic in the Action.
- Statistics from Tests will remain in the Campaign permanently.
