An eTrigue Standard Form is a static form for which you add HTML code to your website. In most cases, the Standard Form always looks the same, behaves the same, asks the same questions, and physically appears on a webpage.
An eTrigue Progressive Form is a constantly changing form for which you add a class ID to standard links on your website. The Progressive Form does NOT physically appear on a web page. Instead, the Progressive Form prompts itself when visitors click on standard web-links that are enabled for protection. Upon clicking a protected web-link, the Progressive Form will check the visitor's cookies and eTrigue history in order to determine:
- Should the Progressive Form be shown to the visitor?
- What questions should the form ask?
- The form already knows the visitor's information, should it allow the visitor to update their information?
- How many times should the form prompt itself, before allowing the visitor to proceed to the desired content?
With Dynamic Progressive Forms, two visitors may have completely different user experiences based on their profile data in DemandCenter. In general, Progressive Forms allow you to progressively collect prospect information over a period of time while Standard Forms collect the same information all at once.
