In emails sent from the DemandCenter system, all links to websites that are NOT registered as eTrigue Trackable Websites, are replaced by semi-trackable URLs with an http://trk.etrigue.com syntax.
When an email recipient clicks on one of these links, the system DOES tally a corresponding visit for the email, in the Prospect's Activity History, as well as in reporting, and the URL of the original link WILL be captured and reflected accordingly in their record.
However, since the website is not recognized as an eTrigue Trackable Site, and the website will not have relevant eTrigue Tracking Code on its pages, the Prospect will not be cookied for ongoing known visitor tracking, and will not be tracked beyond the click.
