Go To is a Dynamic Progressive Form Action Action that can be dragged into the Progressive Form Flow Workspace for use in any Progressive Form Flow. When prospects reach this Action, they will be evaluated according to option rules and may be instantly directed to a different Flow within the current Progressive Form Flow Workspace depending on their field attributes and activity history.
A Go To Action will only exhibit limited functionality if you do not configure the Action's Properties. In Properties, you will be able to specify the Default Option and additional Options, which will determine how the Go To Action behaves for different qualified prospects.
Default Option
With just a Default Option configured, all prospects that reach the Go To Action will be directed to the same Flow with the Progressive Form.
To configure the Default Option:
- Drag Go To from the Actions bar, into the Progressive Flow of your choice.
- Double-click the Go To Action to configure the Action's Properties. You will be taken to the Go To Action configuration window.
- Under Default Option, use the Matching Prospects Go To drop-down menu to select the Flow to which prospects should be directed. By default, Continue in current Flow will be selected. If you would like to direct the prospects to a different Flow in your Progressive Form, choose the preferred Flow from the drop-down menu.
Note - In order for Flows to become available for selection, you must first create them in the Progressive Form Flow Workspace.
- When finished, click OK to retain your configuration settings, or proceed to add additional Options.
Note - When additional Options are used, the Default Option may be disabled by unchecking the Enabled checkbox next to Default Option. In effect, Prospects who do not qualify the criteria for an additional Option, will skip through the Form Action without behavior and will move on to the next Action in the Progressive Flow.
Additional Options
Along with the Default Option, you can also configure additional Options, which can dictate how the Action will behave for different groups of prospects.
To configure additional Options:
- Double-click the Go To Action to access the Action's Properties.
- Click Add Option.
- Under Option, next to IF, click Add Condition to choose the criteria for the Action to match on.
- Next to THEN, use the Matching Prospects Go To menu, to select the Flow to which matching Prospects should be directed.
- Repeat steps 3-5 to configure additional Options, as needed.
- When finished, click OK to retain your configuration settings.
With additional Options in place, Prospects that reach Go To in the Progressive Form Flow will be evaluated by their prospect details (field data and activity history) against the logic criteria of the additional Options.
Upon evaluation:
If a Prospect exactly matches one Option, the rule for the matching Option will be applied and the Prospect will be immediately sent to the specified Flow. Upon entering the destination Flow, the Prospect will proceed to be evaluated by the Flow's first Action.
OR
If a Prospect exactly matches multiple Options, the rule for the FIRST matching Option will be applied and the Prospect will be immediately sent to the specified Flow. Upon entering the destination Flow, the Prospect will proceed to be evaluated by the Flow's first Action.
OR
If a Prospect does not match any Option while the Default Option is enabled, the Prospect will be immediately be sent to the Flow specified by the Default Option and will proceed to be evaluated by the first Action in the destination Flow.
OR
If a Prospect does not match any Option while the Default Option is NOT enabled, the Prospect t will continue in the current flow and will immediately proceed to be evaluated by the next Action in the Primary Flow.
