Can I open my old emails in the Drag & Drop Email Builder?
Unfortunately the answer is no. The Drag & Drop Email Builder has been developed to generate responsive emails that look great across devices and email inboxes. Converting the HTML generated by other email builders to the highly structured document generated by the Drag & Drop Email Builder is not feasible.
Although this is not the answer you were hoping for, the new Drag & Drop Email Builder makes it easy to quickly recreate your emails while giving you the added benefit of being mobile and inbox friendly.
Note that any email message you create will be opened in the email builder / editor that you created them in.
How do I create a mobile version of my email?
The Drag & Drop Email Builder automatically creates responsive emails that look great across devices. No need to design and build specifically for mobile.
Can I use images that are already in my eTrigue account?
Absolutely. All of the images you have uploaded to your eTrigue account are available to each of our email building tools. When you browse for an image in the Drag & Drop Email Builder you will be browsing the images folders and files that are on the Content tab.
You can also search multiple databases with beautiful, free images, within the Image Editor inside the Drag & Drop Email Builder.
Where do my emails get saved?
When you create a new Email Message, you will specify which Asset folder you would like to save it to. You can then access it from the folder in the Asset Explorer just as you do with the emails you have created in the past.
Why don’t I see my Email Messages in the new Template Gallery?
There is an important difference between an Email Template and an Email Message.
- An Email Template provides you a starting point for creating new Email Messages similar to how a PowerPoint Template provides a starting point for creating new PowerPoint presentations.
- Only Email Templates are displayed in the Template Gallery.
- Only Email Messages can be accessed from the folders in the Asset Explorers and selected in Campaign Email Actions.
Can I add new Templates to my Template Gallery?
Users with the Design Email Message Templates permission can create new templates. Once you have created an Email Template, it is available for other users to use as a starting point to create new Email Messages. Roles and permissions can be managed under Settings > User Management.
Can I edit an existing Template in the Template Gallery?
Yes. If you have the Design Email Message Templates permission, you can edit any existing template. You can also delete an existing Email Template, which will remove it from the Template Gallery.
How do I create a browser version of my email?
Open your Email Message. In the top right corner, click on More [...], and choose Get Email HTML. A window will appear that contains the HTML code of your Email Message.
Click Copy Code to copy the HTML code into your clipboard. You can then paste the HTML directly inside DemandCenter's Landing Page Editor and create a web page version of your email on the fly!

Is the HTML altered in any way when eTrigue DemandCenter sends the email?
The links in your email will be replaced with trackable links just like any other Campaign email sent from DemandCenter. For the rest of the HTML, everything stays as is!
How can I preview the HTML?
On the right hand side of the HTML editor pane is the preview pane. As you adjust the HTML in the editor, the preview pane will be refreshed in real-time, reflecting your HTML code. In addition, proofing is always a good way to see how your emails will look.
Tip: Don't forget to add the Subscription Link
To stay CAN-SPAM compliant, be sure to include the Subscription Link into your HTML email. You can add the link by clicking on the Subscription Link button found at the top of the HTML editor pane.
