Before you begin, make sure that you have received an invite to use the eTrigue-Zapier Integration. When you receive the invitation email, click on the link provided. If you have not received your invitation, contact your eTrigue account manager to receive an invitation.
After you have accepted the invitation:
- Log into your Zapier account: http://www.zapier.com/
- Under Zaps, select Create a New Zap.
- Under Choose app & event > Choose account, search for eTrigue as your app.
- Under Trigger > Trigger Event, choose New Lead.
- Under Choose account, select eTrigue as your account. If an account has not already been created, choose to create a new account. When prompted, use the authentication key found earlier in Part 2: Step 6.
- Under Test trigger, choose to test the trigger. If you are prompted that no leads are found, choose to "skip" the steps.
- Under Action > App choose the app (e.g. Salesforce) that will be receiving leads from eTrigue.
- Under Action > Event , choose the event that "looks for" or "finds" records. For example, if you are connecting with Salesforce, then you would choose "Find Record".
- Under Action > Chose account, choose the user account in your app that eTrigue will send data to. If prompted, you may need to log into your connecting app and then choose to "allow" Zapier to connect with your app.
- Under Set up action > object, choose the object in your app that eTrigue will be sending your leads over as. For example, if you are connecting with Salesforce, then the "object" would be "Lead".
