The Mapping screen allows you to add, edit, and remove the field mappings that are included in the regularly occurring synchronizations between your DemandCenter account and your CRM system.
During a sync cycle, connected records between eTrigue and your CRM are updated. For each record pair that is being updated, CRM Integration will use your field mappings to determine which data should be pushed. CRM Integration will only push data for fields that are mapped.
To add new field mappings to DemandCenter's CRM integration:
- If your account's CRM Integration service is active, then you will need to pause Integration first in order to add new field mappings.
Go to Settings > Integration Settings > Integration Parameters and uncheck Integration Active.
Refer to this article on how to temporarily deactivate DemandCenter's CRM Integration for your account. - Next go to Settings > Integration Settings > CRM Integration > Mappings.
- Click to select the Lead or the Contact tab (depending upon where the CRM fields that you wish to map are located).
- Use the Select an eTrigue Field menu to find and select the DemandCenter field that you wish to map.
- Use the Select a CRM Field menu to find and select the CRM field that you wish to map.
- Use the Select a mapping menu to choose the direction that the data will flow between the fields selected in steps 4-5.
- Sync - The system that was most recently modified will push data to the opposing system. For example, if John's eTrigue record was updated at 3:37pm and the corresponding record in CRM was updated at 3:40pm, then during the next sync cycle, the CRM side will push its field data (for this mapping) to eTrigue because it is the side that was recently modified BEFORE the sync cycle occurred.
- eTrigue to CRM - Field data will flow from eTrigue to the CRM only.
- CRM to eTrigue - Field data will flow from the CRM to eTrigue only.
- Click Add -- your new field mapping will appear in the Mappings table.
- Repeat steps 3-7 for any remaining fields that you would like to add.
- If you temporarily deactivated your account's CRM Integration services, you may now reactivate Integration.
To edit existing field mappings for DemandCenter's CRM Integration:
- If your account's CRM Integration service is active, you will first need to temporarily deactivate the Integration in order to edit your account's field mappings.
- Go to Settings > Integration Settings > CRM Integration > Mappings.

Note : Red colored arrows are non-editable field mappings that CRM Integration uses for its processing.
- Map Direction: Choose the direction that the data will flow between the fields selected for the mapping.
- Default Value: If the mapped field is blank, the system will populate the destination field with the Default Value set here.
- To retain your changes to the field mapping, click Save. Otherwise, click Cancel to return to the Mapping table.
