DemandCenter is a browser based application. The application uses your current browser to display the application in the most optimum way it can. Browsers use caching techniques to increase the performance and speed of your pages. Sadly, browsers can become temperamental and sometimes you may encounter an unexpected behavior in the application.
For example, an asset may seem to load slowly or the page layout is not display correctly. Another example is when your browser's session and cookies have expired. Usually, this occurs when you go idle on a page. When you have idled long enough and get back into eTrigue, you may see a page that references an Unhandled Exception. See screenshot below.
Note: Users working with multiple browsers tabs should be aware that when any tabs in your browser expires, the entire login session expires even if you are actively working in one tab.
How to Resolve Browser Related Issues:
As a first line of defense, try clearing your browser's cookies and cache data. This will ensure that your browser gets a clean slate and is not caching old or invalid data. To clear the cookies and cache for your browser, refer to the following browser specific instructions.
- Mozilla Firefox: Click Here
- Internet Explorer: Click Here
- Google Chrome: Click Here
- Apple Safari: Click Here
If a simple refresh is not resolving issue, you may need to perform a "hard" refresh, which clears out more data than a normal refresh.
The command is specific to each browser, but in most cases it is performed by holding down the SHIFT KEY and then pressing the browser's reload button (usually the F5 key) for PC Users.
Mac users can do a similar command with SHIFT + COMMAND + F5.
